Obituary	KENNETH R. FERRIS DEXTER - Kenneth R. Ferris, 76, died December 16, 1985, at his residence on Summit Road. He was born in Parkman, July 3, 1909, the son of Lemuel and Bertha (Knox) Ferris. He was employed at the Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna for many years, before his retirement. He was a member of the Shirley Carter Post VFW, of Dexter. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is survived by a son, Raymond Ferris of Detroit; three daughters, Mrs. Llewellyn (Joyce) Day of Dexter, Mrs. Donald (Betty) Randall of Bangor and Mrs. Edward (Hazel) Maxwell of O'Fallon, Illinois; one brother, Hanford Ferris of Massachusetts; two sisters, Bertha Oats of Portland and Ruby Alden of Sangerville; 12 granchildren, seven great-grandchildren. He will be remembered by a special friend, Merriam Page of Dexter. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 18, at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, where friends called. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, in the spring.
