Obituary
FREDERICK CLUKEY DEXTER - Frederick "Loto" Clukey, 56, died November 15, 1985 at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. He was born February 27, 1929, in Dexter, the son of Frederick and Rosa (Mountain) Clukey. He was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church, a former member of the Knights of Columbus, graduated from Dexter schools and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Shirley B. Carter VFW Post and the Poulliot-Seavey American Legion Post. He was active in local bowling leagues for many years. He was employed for 17 years at Fay-Scott Landis Co. and most recently was employed with the U.S. Postal Service as a postal clerk. He is survived by his mother and wife, Jackueline (Atwater) Clukey, both of Dexter; two sons, Scott of Wiscassett and Richard of Stetson; two brothers, Louis of Bowie, Md., and Leonard of Bangor; two sisters, Mrs. William (Viola) Keyte of Dexter and Mrs. Robert (Elizabeth) Baker of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Julie; nieces, nephews and aunts. Friends called at the Crosby Funeral Home Saturday and Sunday. Prayers were said Sunday evening. Funeral services were held at St. Anne's Catholic Church Monday. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Friends who desire may forward memorial contributions to The Eastern Maine Medical Center for use in the tumor clinic.
