Obituary	LUCILLE S. MCALLISTER DEXTER-Lucille S. McAllister, 67, died November 9, 1985, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital after a long illness. She was born in Dexter, January 22, 1918, the daughter of Charles B. and Mable (Slater) Simms. She was a graduate of N. H. Fay High School in Dexter, class of 1936. For many years, Lucille was employed as a bookkeeper at Fay-Scott Oil Division, Dexter, and Dexter Hardware Co. She was a member of the First Universalist Church in Dexter. She was a member and past worthy matron of Wassookeag Chapter, DES, of Dexter, a past district deputy for the Grand Chapter of Maine DES past president of the Maine DES Secretaries Association and a member and past president of the Pouliott-Seavey American Legion Auxiliary of Dexter. She is survived by her husband, Victor L. McAllister; a daughter, Sandra E. White and a grandson, Donald L. White, all of Dexter; several cousins. At Lucille's request, there will be no public funeral services or calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown Funeral Home, Newport. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions in Lucille's name to the First Universalist Church Building Fund, Dexter, 04930.
