Obituary	VALENTINE E. LIPPOLD NORTH DEXTER - Valentine E. Lippold, 93, died October 19, 1985, at a local nursing home after a long illness. He was born in New York, New York, November 6, 1891, the son of Christian and Anna (Scharn) Lippold. Mr. Lippold served for 19 months in France during World War I. He was a saw millwright and carpenter most of his life. He was a past member of the Odd Fellows and a past assistant steward in North Dexter Grange. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Blake) Lippold of North Dexter. Funeral services were held Monday at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter; with the Rev. Robert Leon of the United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Corner Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
