Obituary	ALICE TOWLE DEXTER - Alice Towle, 73, died at a Bangor hospital, September 17, 1985. She was born in Ornville, May 31, 1912, the daughter of Howard and Lilly (Caldwell-Nash) Smith. She resided in Dexter most of her life. She is survived by her husband, Morris; six sons, Linwood of Dexter, Roger of Nashua, New Hampshire, Raymond of Derry, New Hampshire, Lawrence of Milford, Massachusetts, Roland of Bangor and Frank Smith of Anchorage, Alaska; one daughter, Mrs. Roger (Helen) Smith of East Corinth; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Savage and Mrs. Leon (Ellen) Towle, both of Dexter; 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday at Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter where friends called Wednesday. Services were conducted by Rev. Ronald Libby of Charleston Pentecostal Church. Interment was at West Garland Cemetery, Garland.
