Obituary	JOHN MEAKIN DEXTER - John Meakin, 86, died July 13, 1981, at a Dexter nursing home. He was born in Lithuania, Oct. 14, 1894, the son of John and Mary Meakin. He resided in Connecticut for most of his life; moving to Dexter 11 years ago. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Violette) Meakin of Dexter; one brother, Peter Meakin of Windsor Locks, Conn.; one niece and one nephew. A Mass of Christian burial was held July 14 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter. Interment was at Mount Pleasant Cemetary, Dexter. Arrangements were by Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter.
