Obituary	LAWRENCE E. LIBBY DEXTER – Lawrence Libby, 41, died unexpectedly May 22,1981, in Newport. He was born May 27, 1939, in Windham, the son of Gerald and Viola Day. He was employed by Dexter Shoe Co. for over 23 years, retiring in March because of poor health. He attended Windham High School. He is survived by his fiancee, Christy Townsend of Dexter; one son, Lawrence of Dexter; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Kathy) Pike of St. Albans, Miss Cheryl Libby and Mrs. Lawrence (Tina) Bowley, both of Corinna; two brothers, George and Ralph Libby; one sister, Mrs. Lawrence (Shardina) Hoots of California; six grandchildren. Funeral services were held May 24 at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. Interment was at the Riverside Cemetery, Newport.
