Obituary	GLENN P. NELSON LEWISTON - Glenn Perry Nelson, 65, died suddenly at his home on April 12. He was born in Presque Isle, Nov. 28, 1915, the son of Perry and Nellie Thomas Nelson. He was educated in Dexter schools. He had been employed in previous years as a draftsman and most recently as a horse owner and trainer, retiring due to ill health about five years ago. Nelson served with the U.S. Navy in World War II. He married the form Beverly O'Brien in Danville, Dec. 8,1967. He was a member of the Maine Harness and Horsemen Association. He is survived by his wife of Lewiston; three sons, Bradley of New York City, Brian of Lewiston and Alan, of Lewiston; two daughters, Joyce Austin of Lee and Linda Miller of North Waterford; five brothers, Andrew of New York City, Earl of Hartland, Spurgeon of Dexter, Roy and Perry of Dexter; six sisters, Ethyl. Bonney of Gardner, Lela Nelon and Shirley Campbell of Dover-Foxcroft, Helen Higgins of Bangor, Lois McKenney of Dexter and Dorothy Toule of Augusta; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held April 14 at Teague and Finely Funeral Home, Lewiston, Me. Burial followed at the Veterans Cemetery, Augusta.
