Obituary	DEWANE R. MASON DEXTER - Dewane R. Mason, 57, died March 30, 1981 at a Bangor nursing home following a long illness. He was born June 2, 1923, in Arimo, Idaho, the son of Charles and Gertrude Mason. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific; was employed for 32 years at the Fayscott Machine Shop in Dexter as a machinist. He was a member of the Penobscot Lodge of Masons, the Anah Temple Shrine and the Odd Fellows. He is survived by his mother, his wife Estelle and one son Everett, all of Dexter; one daughter, Mrs. William (Barbara) Prescott of Corinna; three brothers, Webber of Dexter, Glen of Skowhegan, Lester of Newport; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held April 2 at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. Masonic service was held March 31st. Interment followed in the Veterans Cemetery, Augusta.
