Obituary	JAMES W. YORK DEXTER - James W. York, 49, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 22, 1981, at a local hospital. He was born in Cambridge, Maine, July 4, 1931, the son of Osceola and Jenine Leavitt York. He attended Dexter schools, served in the United States Navy during the Korean War, was a member of the Church of Christ in Pittsfield and had been residing in Dexter for the past year and a half after living in Massachusetts for many years. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Pinette York of Dexter; four sons, James Jr. with the United States Navy, Roland, Steven and Richard, all of Dexter; one daughter, Mrs. Genieve Morrill of Dexter; one brother, Richard of Cornville; four sisters, Mrs. Clyde (Evelyn) Perkins of Cornville, Mrs. Frank (Hattie) Trafton of Wellington, Mrs. Althea Fowlie of Harmony, and Mrs. Ella Venema of La Mesa, Calif.; one grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be announced by the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter.
