Obituary	QUINCY SMITH DEXTER –Quincy Gilman Smith, 74, died March 13, 1981, at a Dexter hospital following a long illness. He was born July 18, 1906, in Dexter, son of Quincy and Nellie (Hartford) Smith Sr. He was a member of the Penobscot Lodge No. 39 and the First Baptist Church of Dexter. He is survived by his wife, Pauline (Gould) Smith of Dexter, four sons, Eugene and Wayne, both of Dexter, Richard of Windham and James of Guilford; one daughter, Mrs. Joyce Stanley of Unity; one brother, Maynard of Oakland; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held March 15 at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, with the Rev. John Dunn Jr. officiating. A Masonic service was held at 7:30 on March 14. Spring interment will be held in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
