Obituary	ROBERT B. MCLAUGHLIN HAMPDEN and DEXTER - Robert B. McLaughlin, 97, died Jan. 27, 1981, at a Dexter nursing home where he had lived for the past two years. He was born Aug. 24, 1883, at Dyer Brook, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher McLaughlin. He spent most of his life in West Hampden where he owned a farm. He later lived on Cottage St., Hampden, where he sold lime and fertilizer. Mr. McLaughlin was an honorary member of Mystic Lodge 35, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, with over 60 years of service. He is survived by one son, Frisby McLaughlin of Dexter; two daughters, Phyllis Godding of Chehalis, Wash., and Mrs. Virginia Junkins of Portland; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; nieces, nephews and cousins. Masonic services were held Jan. 28. Funeral services were held Jan. 29 at the Hampden Funeral Home. Arrangements were by the Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter.
