Obituary	HERBERT F. GROLEAU DEXTER - Herbert F. Groleau, 78, of 89 Spring St., died July 6, 1985 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born in Dexter, December 26, 1906 the son of Thomas and Rose (Higgins) Groleau. He was a graduate of Dexter High School, Class of 1926. On May 29, 1936, he married Alida Gilbert. A resident of Dexter for 39 years, he worked at several woolen mills. For 23 years he worked in the foundry at Fay-Scott, retiring in 1970. He was a member of the Dexter Fish and Game Association and was a communicant of St. Anne's Parish. He is survived by his wife of Dexter; two daughters, Mrs. James (Margaret) Higgins of Surry and Mrs. James (Patricia) Downing of Exeter; five grandchildren, Joan Guildford of Pittsfield, Kathy Day of Dexter, Judy Pullen of Dexter, Mark Higgins of Surry and James Downing, Jr., of Exeter; two great-granddaughters, several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at St. Anne's Church, Dexter. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Friends called Sunday at the Crosby Funeral Home.
