Obituary	KENNETH V. MOODY DEXTER - Kenneth V. Moody, 61, died unexpectedly March 24, 1985. He was born in Liberty, Aug. 12, 1923, the son of the late Leslie and Ida (Soule) Moody. He graduated from Skowhegan High School,Class of 1941, and the Skowhegan Business School. He served in the 83rd division infantry during World War II. He was a member of the Euclide Lodge of Masons in Madison and the National Association of Accountants. He is survived by his wife, Marcia (Wilson) Moody of Dexter; one son, Kenneth V. Moody Jr. and a granddaughter, Joanna of Portland; several brothers and sisters, Robert of Solon, Roger of Dearborn, Mich., Royce of Sarasota, Fla., Mrs. Charles (Shirley) MacDermott of Sarasota, Fla., Mrs. Harry (Joyce) Betts of Spring Hill, Tenn., Mrs. Harold (Mona) Stanley of Dexter and Mrs. Lionel (Virginia) LePage of Skowhegan. At the time of his death he has a comptroller for the Dexter Shoe Co., where he had been employed for more than 35 years. Funeral services were at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, with the Rev. Cleon Ross of the Central Maine Mission Episcopal officiating. Masonic services were held Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Heart Association or the Dexter Rescue Squad. These memorials may be left at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft, at a later date.
