Obituary	DALE A.YOUNG BASKING RIDGE, NH - Dale A. Young, 53, of Basking Ridge, NJ and Dexter died March 8, at Somerset Medical Center Somerville, NJ following a short illness. He was born in Dexter on March 26, 1931, son of Dorothy Sevey Young and the late Rodney A. Young. He graduated from N.H. Fay High School in Dexter, attended Florida Southern University and the New York City Art Students League, received his BS Degree from UMO and his Masters Degree from Newwark College of Engineering. While at UMO he served as President of Tau Beta Pi and was a member of Phi Kappa Phi. He was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He has been an Engineering Associate with Exxon Research & Engineering in Linden, NJ for the past 25 years and served as president of the Exxon Federal Credit Union for the past 6 years. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Somerville, NJ; a life member of Penobscot Masonic Lodge; and a member of Trenton Area Consistory Valley Order of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rites. Survivors include his wife Mildred Rader Young; his son Mark A., and daughter Sheryl A. all of Basking Ridge, NJ; mother Mrs. Dorothy Sevey Young of Dexter; brother Blaine A. of Chula Nista, CA; and sister Ila Young Burns of Poland, ME. Servies were held March 11 in Somerville, NJ with interment in Basking Ridge, NJ A memorial service is tentatively scheduled at the First Baptist Church in Dexter.
