Obituary	Mrs. Florida Jacques Quirion Mrs. Florida Jacques Quirion, 72, passed away March 11, at her home in Augusta after a long illness. She was born in St. Victor De Trine, Canada, September 26, 1873, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Poulin. Coming to Maine at the age of eight years, she lived most of her life in Dexter. She married Joseph Jacques 53 years ago. They had eight children, five of whom are now living, Mrs. Nora. Cousins of Dexter, Mrs. Zephrine Gilbert, Maxime and Robert Jacques of Augusta and Evangelist Jacques of Cambridge, Mass. There are also twelve grandchildren one in the service, Cpl. Bernard Gilbert. Mrs. Quirion also leaves a brother, Leon Pooler of Portland and three sisters, Mrs. Cora Dyer, Mrs. Sadie Poulin, and Mrs. Marie Daigle, all of Dexter. Mr. Jacques died twenty five years ago and in 1929 she married Thomas Quirion of Augusta. He died about four years ago. Funeral services for Mrs. were held at St. Anne's Catholic church this morning, Thursday, at 9 o'clock. Solemn High mass was celebrated with Rev. C. J. Enright, Rev. Charles Bennett and Rev. Leopold Huot, officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. The bearers were Leon Daigle, Adolph Dyer. Bernard Dyer, Paul Dyer, Charles Gilbert and Robert Gilbert. Among those from out of town attending the services were E. A. Jacques of Cambridge, Mass., Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Gilbert, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jacques, Mr. and Mrs. Maxime Jacques, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gilbert, Charles, Priscilla, Raymond, Cecelia Gilbert, Corinne Sirois, all of Augusta; Mr. and Mrs. Leon Pooler of Portland and Mrs. Martha Mountain of Lewiston.
