Obituary
ALBION FIELD DEXTER - Albion Field, 49, died Nov. 17 at his residence after a long illness. He was born in Dexter Nov. 17, 1931, son of Grover and Angeline (Winchester) Field. He attended Dexter schools. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He was a member of the Disabled Veterans Organization and the First Baptist Church. He served as a machinist in a local woolen mill for over 25 years, having retired in 1974 due to poor health. He is survived by his mother of Dexter; his wife, Evelyn (Woodard) Field of Dexter; three daughters, Katherine Gould, Sally Fanjoy, and Julie Field, all of Dexter; four brothers, Walter of Dexter, Ludlow of Corinna, Elwood of Exeter, and Floyd of Newport News, Va.; four sisters, Mrs. Helen Stone of Exeter, Mrs. Edith Davis of Waterville, Mrs. Vesta Clukey and Mrs. Mary Provost, both of Dexter; two step-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Nov. 19 at the First Baptist Church, Dexter, with the Rev. John Dunn officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Arrangements were by Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter.
