Obituary	ROLAND J. GILBERT SOUTH PORTLAND - Roland J. Gilbert, 58, of Main St., South Portland died Saturday morning, Nov. 8, at a Portland hospital following a brief illness. He was born in Dexter, March 13, 1922, son of the late Joseph and Emma Clukey Gilbert and attended Dexter schools. For several years he was employed by the Frank M. Brown Company in Portland and in recent years he was assistant treasurer for the N.T. Fox Lumber Company. He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by two brothers, Anthony Gilbert of Dexter and Cyril Gilbert of Bath, one sister, Mrs. Minnie Dulac of Dexter and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9:15 a.m. at 749 Congress St., Portland with a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church in South Portland. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery, Cape Elizabeth.
