Obituary	HUGH [PAT] COONEY SR ST. ALBANS - Hugh (Pat) Cooney Sr., 64, died unexpectedly Oct. 10. He was born in Framingham, Mass., March 18, 1916, the son of Percival and Helen (Dority) Cooney. He had farmed in St. Albans since the early 1940's. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clarissa (Getchell) Cooney of St. Albans; two sons, Hugh Cooney Jr. of Ripley and George Cooney of St. Albans; two step-sons, Francis Getchell of Naugatuck, Conn., Robert Getchell of Dexter, two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Helen) Gordon of St. Albans, Mrs. Walter (Patricia) Turner of Newport; one brother, George Cooney of Framingham, Mass., two sisters, Miss Rose Cooney of Framingham, Mass., Mrs. Florence Gargon of Southboro, Mass.; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Oct. 12 at the Crosby Funeral Home. Friends wishing to make memorial contributions to the Heart Fund. Contributions may be left at the funeral home.
