C. PERLEY GREENLEAF SKOWHEGAN - C. Perley Greenleaf, 70, died July 29 at a local hospital following a long illness. He was born Oct. 19, 1909 in Washburn. He was the son of Clarence and Matilda Greenleaf. He was a resident of Skowhegan for over 50 years, and was employed as a tractor-trailer operator for the St. Johnsbury Co. and Woodland Dairy. He was also self-employed in lumbering and was a part-time employee for the Skowhegan State Fair working as a grounds maintenance man. He is survived by one one, Clarence, of Skowhegan; four daughters, Mrs. Germain (Barbara) Bolduc of Salisbury, Mass.; Mrs. Doris Kimball, Bridgton, Mrs. Irene Griggs, Oxford, Mass. and Mrs. Robert (Jeannette) Getchell of Dexter three brothers, John of Monroe, Alton of Bristol, Conn. and Lester of Iowa; one sister, Mrs. Hazel Wescott of Monroe; 15 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
