Obituary	HERBERT WARK JR. DEXTER - Herbert J. Wark Jr. 49, died unexpectedly Oct. 8, in Springfield, Mass. He was born in Newport, Aug. 26, 1934, the son of Herbert J. and Irene Fletcher Wark Sr. Mr. Wark was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran serving for 20 years. He was a proprietor of the T.V. Man Sales and Service, Dexter, and had been active in the Dexter community for several years. He was master of the Penobscot Masonic Lodge of Dexter, a member of the St. John's Royal Arch Chapter, No. 25 of Dexter, a member of the Demolay Commanderie No. 10 of Skowhegan, a member of the Tri-County Shrine'Club, and a member of the Anna-Temple Shrine of Bangor. Besides his mother of Dexter, he is survived by his wife, Donna Shaw Wark of Dexter; two sons, David with the U.S. Air Force, Wichita, Kan., and John with the U.S. Army, Soule, Korea; one daughter, Cindy of Dexter; three brothers, Richard and Gerald of Dexter, and Stanley of Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Dean (Donna) Clukey of Houlton; one grandson, several nieces and nephews. Friends called at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, Monday where a masonic memorial service was conducted by the Penobscot Masonic Lodge of Dexter. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the United Methodist Church of Dexter, with the Rev. Robert Leon officiating. Burial will at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Shrine Children's Hospital C/O Anna Temple Shrine, 586 Main St., Bangor, Maine 04401 in Mr. Wark's name.
