KENNETH W. WILCOX DEXTER - Kenneth W. Wilcox, 69, died Aug. 19,1983, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. he was born in Woodland, June 1, 1914, the son of George and Delia (Twist) Wilcox. He resided in Portland for more than 40 years, where he was employed as a welder and pipefitter. He moved to Dexter in 1980. He attended the First Free Baptist Church, served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and was a member of Shirley Carter Post, VFW. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by four brothers, Elden of Caribou, Clifton of Washburn, Athill of Dexter and Clyde of Sangerville; one sister, Mrs. Harley (Mae) Skidgell of Perham; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the First Free Baptist Church on Monday with the Rev. Warren Johnson officiating. Visiting hours were held at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. Masonic services were held at the funeral home Saturday. Burial will be in Grace Memorial Park, Auburn.
