Obituary	J. ROBERT BENNETT DEXTER - J. Robert Bennett, 73, died Nov. 14, 1984, at Greenville. He was born Aug. 23, 1911, in Parkman, the son of Gayland and Georgia (Delano) Bennett. He attended Dexter schools. He worked for several years for the Fay Scott Machine Shop and was a self-employed carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Alberta Poulin Bennett, two sons, Gayland and Barry, one daughter, Mrs. Jane Bennett Gilbert, all of Dexter; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Douglas Bennett of Dexter; one sister, Dorothy Richards of Wooster, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial was held Saturday at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Dexter. Friends called at Crosby Funeral Home Friday. Interment was at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
