Obituary	ANNE FICKETT DEXTER - Anne Fickett, 88, died Nov. 10, 1984, at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. She was born in Stetson, April 16, 1896, the daughter of Hugh and Alberta (Barry) McTravls. She taught school most of her life and was guidance director in the Bangor school system for many years. She was a graduate of Castine Normal School. She had served as state president of the Retired Teachers Association and had been a member of Delta Kappa Gamma sorority. She was the wife of the late Arthur Fickett. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dana (Shirley) Luce of Dexter; one sister, Nina Hughes of Salem, N.H.; one grandchild, Gail Madison; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. There were no visiting hours. The Rev. Robert Leon, of the United Methodist Church officiated. Interment was in Etna Cemetery.
