Rev. Annie Lee Ridgeway Rev. Annie Lee Ridgeway, 81, died at her home on Grove street this morning, Thursday, after a several months illness with a heart ailment. She was born in Brockton, Mass., and came to Dexter more than twenty-five years ago where she has since resided. As a young women she was ordained to the ministry and for many years did missionary work in Boston and vicinity. She was at one time pastor of the Free Will Baptist church in Dexter and also served the Exeter church. Miss Ridgeway was an ardent fishing fan and until ill health prevented it, she was a familiar figure at the float bridge, or at Flynn's wharf enjoying her favorite pastime. She gave much of her life in aiding others and was always happiest when sharing others burdens. She lived by the "Golden Rule" and leaves a wide circle of friends who will long, remember her Christian teachings. She was an active member of the Townsend Club. Surviving relatives include a sister in California; a brother in Brockton, Mass., also several nieces and a nephew. A very close friend and companion, Miss Vera Packard, has made her with Miss Ridgeway several years and cared for her during her long illness. Funeral arrangements have not as yet been made.
