Obituary	Dexter woman dies after accident BANGOR - Lilian 0. Brown, 72, died Saturday at Eastern Maine Medical Center from injuries sustained in an accident on the Old Ripley Rd. in Dexter September 10. Police reports indicate that Lilian Brown, a resident of the Dexter Boarding Home, was apparently walking in the roadway near the entrance of Bishop Hill when she was struck. Brown was born at Weston, January 18, 1912, the daughter of David and Lucy (Corning) Faulkner. She was a former long-time resident of Bangor and resided in Dexter for the last two years. She attended schools at Selden and was predeceased by her husband, Percy A. Brown in 1942. She is survived by one son, Percy A. Brown Jr. of Bangor; one daughter, Frances J. Merchant of Hampden; four sisters, Pansy Madden of Greenfield, Geneva Anderson of Bangor, Phyllis Perkins of Albion and Juanita Joseph of Corinna; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several stepbrothers and stepsisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held Monday at the Selden Baptist Church with the Rev. Dwaine Waite officiating. Interment will be in Selden Cemetery.
