Obituary	JAMES CANNON JR. DEXTER - James Cannon Jr., 72, died Sept. 4, 1984, at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Cambridge, Mass., April 19, 1912, the son of James and Janet (Belyea) Cannon Sr. He was employed for many years as a chemical engineer in coke and steel factories. He is survived by his wife, Frances (Card) Cannon of Dexter; four daughters, Louise Lazare and Janet Cannon, both of Boston, Patricia Cannon of Dexter, Mrs. Virginia Preston of Dover-Foxcroft; three sisters, Miss Ina Cannon of Lexington, Mass., Mrs. Thelma Sargent of Boston, Mrs. Janet Poore of Goffstown, N.H.; 12 grandchildren. There were no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday at St. Anne's Catholic Church.
