PHILIP POOLER DEXTER - Philip Pooler, 82, died March 29, 1984, at a Dexter nursing home after a long illness. He was born in Dexter, June 15, 1901, the son of Adolph and Eliza (Groleau) Pooler. He was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church. He was employed at local woolen mills as a weaver for many years. He was employed by the Dexter School Department as a janitor and was a part-time janitor at the Corinna Post Office. He is survived by five sons, Owen and Robert, both of Dexter, Wellman of Derby, David of Corinna and Roger of Fort Worth, Texas; four daughters, Anne Bailey of Cambridge, Nancy Corris and Dorothy Ford, both of Mesa, Ariz. and Susan Weeks of Dexter; two sisters, Connie Mountain of Newport, NH and Martha Eliot of Ocean Park; 27 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Friends called at Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, Friday. Spring interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
