Obituary	A. ROSS DuBOURDIEU MIDDLETOWN - A. Ross DuBourdieu, 83, of 12 Continental Drive, died March 27, 1984, at the Village House Convalescent Home in Newport R.I. after an illness. He was the husband of the late Dorothy Upton DuBourdieu. Born in Dexter, June 27, 1900, he was a son of the late John and Florence Farnsworth DuBourdieu. He came to Middletown, R.I. from Newport, N.H. two years ago, to live with his daughter, Jeanne McKenna. Mr. DuBourdieu had worked in the textile industry in Maine and New Hampshire for many years. He retired in 1965 as an overseer of spooling and dressing at the Brampton Woolen Co. of Newport, N.H. He was a Navy veteran of World War I. Mr. DuBourdieu was the father of John Ross DuBourdieu, late of Dexter. His daughter is his only survivor. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. In lieu of flowers donations to the Middletown Rescue Wagon Fund would be appreciated.
