Obituary
LAWRENCE GUSTIN DEXTER - Lawrence Gustin died Feb. 21, 1984, at a Togus hospital after a long illness. He was born in Blaine, June 5, 1929, the son of Lee and Cassle (Garrison) Gustin. He attended Blaine schools and served in the Army during the Korean conflict. He was a self-employed farmer and woodsman at his Charleston Road residence. He was a member of the Shirley B. Carter Post No. 4298 VFW. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Hall) of Dexter; three sons, Alverdo, Gordon and Timothy, all of Dexter; two daughters, Claudia Davis and Lucille Merrill, both of Dexter; two brothers, Harrison of New Haven, Conn., and Gerald of Dexter; four sisters, Alma Cowon of Bradford, Conn., Hilda Townsend and Lillian Adair, both of Plymouth, and Genevieve Emery of Pittsfield; 11 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. A VFW service was held at the funeral home. Spring interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Newport.
