LEO RICHARD DEXTER - Leo Richard, 66, died Jan. 29, 1984, at a VA hospital in Togus after a long illness. He was born June 25, 1917, at Salem, Mass., the son of Albert and Albina (Dupre) Richard. He attended schools in Livermore Falls, served in the Army during World War II, was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter, was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and the VFW of Dexter. He was employed for many years as a foreman at the Dexter Shoe Company. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beatrice LePage Richard of Dexter; four daughters, Mrs. Ann Bragg of Milo, Mrs. Holly Wyman of Dover-Foxcroft, Jane Ronco of St. Albans, Mary Richard of Boston, Mass.; four sons, Arthur and Leo Richard Jr., both of Dexter, Albert of Hookset, N.H., and Dale of Weymouth, Mass.; 23 grandchildren; three brothers, George, Leonard and Robert, all of Livermore Falls; four sisters, Rita Allenburger of Virginia, Lorraine Mercier and Gloria Trembley, Marion Pomroy, all of Livermore Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Friends called Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. Interment will be in Livermore Falls Cemetery in the spring.
