Obituary	MADELYN HASKELL DEXTER - Madelyn (Daggett) Haskell, 85, died June 30 at the Dexter Nursing Home. The widow of Dr. Harvey LeRoy Haskell, she was born in Dexter on November 22, 1894, the daughter of Nathan and Idella (True) Daggett. She graduated from Dexter High School in the Class of 1913 and from Colby College in 1917. For many years she was associated with her father at Daggett's Shoe Store and carried on the business following his death. She was a member of the First Universalist Church of Dexter, the Dexter Woman's Literary Club, the Ladies Aid, The Boneka Club, the Sunshine Club, the Plummer Memorial Hospital Associates and the Dexter Historical Society. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Warren (Hilda) Harlow of Wallingford, Conn.; Mrs. Thomas (Elaine) Knowland of Mayfield, Kentucky; and Mrs. Linwood (Cynthia) Folsom of Bucksport, and eight grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Crosby Funeral Home. There will be no visiting hours. Kindly omit flowers. Friends may make memorial donations to the Sunshine Club or the Dexter Historical Society. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at the First Universalist Church July 3, at 7 p.m.
