Obituary	ALPHONZO F. COOKSON DEXTER - Alphonzo Cookson, 72, died April 30 at a Brewer nursing home after a long illness. He was born in Burnham, May 14, 1907, son of Charles and Lena (Young) Cookson, and was a resident of Dexter since 1942. Mr. Cookson is survived by his wife, Doris of Dexter; three daughters, Althea Cookson of Dexter, Charlotte Lotte Pearson of East Holden, and Sonya Arno of Sidney; five brothers, Edwin, Clayton, Sherman, Clarence and Lynwood, all of Burnham; a sister, Vera Basford of Burnham; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter on May 2, the Rev. Vicki Woods officiating. Burial was at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
