Obituary
Harry 0. Clukey Funeral services for Harry O. Clukey we held from St. Anne's Catholic church Monday morning at 9 o'clock, the Rev. Leopold Huot officiating. Bearers were Edward Nichols, Hugh McDonald. Edward Cleaves Frank Veno, Louis LaFontaine and Dennis Cleaves. The body was placed in the receiving tomb to await burial in the spring at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Attending the services from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Veno and son, Jere, of Rochester, N. H., Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Clukey, of Skowhegan, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh MacDonald and Elmer Clukey of Sangerville. Mr. Clukey died suddenly Saturday, February 2nd from a heart attack. He was born March 11, 1880 in Canada, the son of John and Mary Clukey, and came to Dexter when a small boy. In early life be was united in marriage to Rose LaFontaine, who died four years ago. For many years he was employed in the woolen mills in town until he retired about a year ago because of poor health. He was a member of St. Annes church. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Laura Mountain and Mrs. Adelaide Ronco; three sons, Raymond of Dexter, Jerome and Lester of Dover-Foxcroft; three brothers, Thomas J., Dexter, Elmer of Sangerville, Joseph of Skowhegan and twelve grandchildren.
