Obituary	WM. MARVIN SALISBURY DEXTER - Wm. Marvin Salisbury, 88, died at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home May 8, 1980, following a long illness. He was born in Ellsworth Sept. 28, 1891, the son of Marcellus and Elizabeth (Peckman)Salisbury. He operated the Park Theater in Dexter 15 years during the 30's when it was owned by Kirstein and Epstein. He later was proprietor of a fish market in Dexter for many years. He was a member of the Universalist Church; past master of the Penobscot Lodge of Masons; St. John's Commandery; Royal Arch Chapter; the Consistory (Scottish Rite); Anah Temple Shrine, as well as the Tri-County Shrine Club. He is survived by one son, Gardner, of Ripley; one daughter, Rebecca Page of Dexter; two brothers, Ralph of Brewer, Raymond of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Evadna Thompson of Hulls Cove, Miss Ruth Salisbury and Mrs. Harold Paine, both of Bar Harbor; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral services were May 11 at the Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Robert Sterling of the Universalist Church officiated. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
