Obituary	BERTHA M. RIDEOUT GARLAND - Mrs. Bertha M. Rideout, 88, died May 11 at a Dexter boarding home. She was born on Oct. 13, 1891, in Exeter, daughter of Myron and Edna (Southard) Skinner. She was the wife of the late Donald E. Rideout. She attended the Garland Community Church, and was a lifelong member of the Garland Grange. She was a devoted homemaker, a beloved friend and neighbor to the Garland community. She is survived by two sisters, Alice Skinner of Dexter, and Velma Russell of Bangor; and eight nieces and nephews. Funeral services were May 13 at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Garland.
