Obituary	GRACE CROSBY NEWPORT - Mrs. Grace T. Crosby, 73, wife of Elwin L. Crosby, died May 2 in a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home after a long illness. She was born in Dexter July 27, 1906, daughter of Charles and Nellie (Nickerson) Tario. Mrs. Crosby was a 60 year member of the First Baptist Church of Dexter. She was also a member of the Elizabeth Towle Guild, Martha Washington Rebekah Lodge and Dexter Grange. She was active in the Newport Meals for Me program and belonged to the Wednesday Morning Ladies' Prayer Group in Newport. She was a member of the Corinna Senior Citizens and the Newport Senior Citizens clubs. She was always active with young people in Sunday schools. She is survived by her husband of Newport; one son, Alton B. of Dexter; two daughters, Mrs. Shelley Durost of Vienna, Va., and Mrs. Corinne Neal of Kittatas, Wash.; one sister, Mabel T. Olsen of Dexter; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held May 6 at the First Baptist Church of Dexter with the Rev. John Dunn Jr. officiating. Interment was in the Mount Pleasant Cemetary, Dexter. Note: Shelley Durost should be Shirley Durost per family information 12/14/2002
