STANWOOD HAM DEXTER - Stanwood Jesse Ham, 67, died Jan. 4 at a Dexter hospital following a long illness. He was born May 28, 1912, in Cambridge, the son of Andrew and Mabel (Page) Ham. He operated a poultry farm in Dexter for 16 years and was employed as a machinist at Fay-Scott, Inc. for 26 years. Prior to his reitrement, he worked in construction for nine years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dexter as well as Cambridge Masonic Lodge No. 157. He was a past member and assistant chief in the Dexter Fire Dept. He is survived by his wife, Arline Hamm of Dexter; two daughters, Constance Crosby of Dexter, and Linda Davis of Bethel; three sisters, Winifred Baines of Pittsfield, Louise Bailey of Cambridge, and Elizabeth Bailey of Cornville; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services were Jan. 6 at the First Baptist Church of Dexter with the Rev. John Dunn, Jr. officiating. Arrangements by the Crosby Funeral Home.
