Obituary	GEORGE LESSARD AUGUSTA - George Lessard, 58, of Caribou died Dec. 25 at the Veterans Administration Medical Regional Office Center, Togus, after a long illness. He was born June 7, 1921 in Lynn, Mass., the son of Joseph and Matilda Picard Lessard. Mr. Lessard was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War, Caribou, and he was an Army veteran of World War II and a Nazi Prisoner of War. He is survived by a brother, Joseph Lessard of California; and a sister, Mrs. Jeannette Bishop of Dexter. Prayer services and committal services were Dec. 28 at the Maine Veterans Memorial Chapel, Old Belgrade Road, Augusta The Rev. Leonard Leclair, Catholic Chaplain, Veterans Administration Center, Togus officiated. Burial was in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
