Obituary	REGINA M. LACHANCE SKOWHEGAN - Mrs. Regina M. LaChance, 79, died Dec. 28 in a hospital here after a short illness. Born in Pa Patrie, Quebec, daughter of Jean-Baptise and Emma Chauvin Martin, she was the widow of Albert LaChance. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, the Skowhegan Sunshine Society, and the Skowhegan Senior Citizens. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Alton (Lauretta) Whittemore, Mrs. Leon (Vivian) Dumont, Mrs. Phillip (Bonnie) Gagne, all of Skowhegan; Mrs. Larry (Annette) Baker of Manchester, and Mrs. Frederick (Jeannette) Vioette of Dexter; a brother, Uric Martin of Peribonka, Quebec; a sister, Mrs. Fedora Valacourt of Montreal, Canada; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. A funeral mass was held aDec. 31 from Notre Dame des Lourdes Catholic Church here. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, here in the spring.
