Obituary	ETHEL SKILLINGS RIPLEY - Ethel Skillings, 82, died at a Pittsfield nursing home Dec. 24, following a long illness. She was born in Dexter, Feb. 6, 1897, daughter of Amos and Ellen (Lougee) Lord. She was the wife of the late Clifton Skillings. She is survived by one son, Clarence of Exeter; one foster son, Robert Hardy of Harmony; three foster grandchildren, Kevin, Jeffrey and Areta, all of Harmony; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Crosby Funeral Home. Interment will be in at the Ferndale Cemetery in Ripley in the spring.
