Obituary	DORA D. HIGHT DOVER-FOXCROFT - Dora D. Hight, 68, died Dec. 17, at a local hospital. She was born in Dover-Foxcroft Feb. 4, 1911, daughter of Manley J. and Blanche (Atwood) Davis. She attended Sangerville schools. She was a member of the Central Grange No. 121. the CWA Committee, the East Piscataquis Pomona Grange No. 29, Maine State and National Granges and 7th Degree Granger. She was president of the Chadbourne-Merrill American Legion Post No. 29 auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, John L. Hight of Dover-Foxcroft; six brothers, Manley of Cambridge, Charles of Dover-Foxcroft, Howard of Hartland, Isaiah of Morrill, Leon of Guilford and Carl of Parkman; four sisters, Faye Mithee of North Guilford, Elizabeth Hall of Belfast, Flora Millett of Sangerville and Lillian Kirk of Dexter. Funeral services were Dec. 20 at the Lary Funeral Home, with the Rev. George Moore of the United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the family lot in Rural Grove Cemetery.
