Obituary	EVELYN DOORE JONES SILVERS MILLS - Evelyn (Doore) Jones, 64, died at a Waterville hospital Dec. 17. She was born in Atkinson, Nov. 6, 1915, the daughter of the late John W. and Elizabeth (Blake) Doore. She was a member of the Maine State Grange and a Golden Sheath member of South Sangerville Grange. She was a member of the Dexter Methodist Church. She spent several years researching and compiling information for a Doore genealogy, which she had published. She is survived by her husband, Pearl C. Jones of Dexter; one son, Carroll L. of Dover-Foxcroft; one daughter, Prudence J. Thompson of Dexter; two sisters, Mrs. Philip (Shirley) Green of Dexter and Mrs. Harold (Francis) Royal of Brewer; two brothers, John W. Doore Jr. of Dover-Foxcroft and Malcolm L. Doore of Atkinson; five grandchildren, Lucinda, Daniel, Melissa and Mathew Jones, and Joseph Thompson. She was predeceased by a granddaughter Jennifer Thompson Dec. 1, 1979. Funeral arrangements wil be announced.
