Obituary	WILLIAM E. OSGOOD CORINNA - William E. Osgood, 90, died Oct. 6. at a Pittsfield hospital after a brief illness. He was born Jan. 23, 1889, at Prentiss, the son of Forest and Robena Boyington Osgood. Mr. Osgood served one term in the Maine Legislature and had been a member of the Republican town Committee for many years. This year he received the Boston Post cane as Corinna's oldest resident. In 1917 he married Hazel Greenwood of Corinna who died 11 months ago. He is survived by a son, Basil W. Osgood of Dexter; a daughter, Marion Marsh of Corinna; three brothers, Charles of Bangor, Russell of Old Orchard Beach, and Clifford of Carroll; three, sisters, Luda Brown and Belle Dodge, both of Bangor, and Dorothy Moores of Veazie. Funeral services were Oct. 8 at the Crosby Funeral Home, Corinna, with the Rev. Edward Jaworski officiating. Burial was in Village Cemetery.
