Obituary	S. ELIZABETH KELLEY DEXTER - Sara Elizabeth Kelley, 78, died Sept. 3 at a Dexter hospital following a long illness. She was born in Smyrna Mills, June 15, 1901, daughter of John and Mary Morrison) Rafford. She was the wife of the late Dr. L.E. Kelley. Mrs. Kelley graduated from Aroostook Normal School in Presque Isle, then moved to Island Falls to teach. After her marriage to Dr. Kelley, she moved to Dexter in 1923 and taught school there until her retirement. She had been a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Gamma Chapter. She was a life member of The Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Dexter Woman's Literary Club, American Legion Auxiliary and the Boneka Club of the Dexter Universalist Church. She is survived by one son, Paul of Claremont, N.H.; a daughter-in-law, Alice, also fo Claremont; a sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Rhobena) Mower and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Mower, both of Dexter; two grandchildren, Brian and Lisa Kelly; four nieces and one nephew. Funeral services were Sept. 5 at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. Active pall-bearers were Galen Goulette, Elwood Sampson, Dean Thompson and Blaine Young. Honorary pall-bearers were Reynold Thompson, Romeo Vigue and Charles Ansel. Interment was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association in memory of Mrs. Kelley.
