Obituary	DOROTHY MERCHANT DEXTER - Mrs. Dorothy Merchant, 60, died July 13 at her Dexter residence. She was born in Dexter, May 28, 1919, daughter of Oscar and Dola (Nadeau) Elderkin. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth and one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Kathleen) Hanscom, of Dexter; three sisters, Mrs. Russell (Hope) Knowls, Mrs. Barbara Buzzell of Skowhegan, Mrs. Virginia Curtis of Dover-Foxcroft; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held July 15 at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. Iterment followed in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
