Obituary	MINNIE CLIFFORD EXETER - Mrs. Minnie Austin Clifford, 94, died June 30 at a Dover-Foxcroft, nursing home following a long illness. She was born in Exeter, Nov. 4, 1884, the daughter of Alfred and Ella (Smith) Austin. She was the widow of Edward Clifford, and resided prior to her illness at their Zions Hill residence in Dexter for many years. She had attended Exeter public schools and later taught at schools in Patten and Standish. She was an active member of the Dexter United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and was past president of the WSCS. She was also active in Grange where she held several offices and recently received a 50-year membership award. She is survived by one son, Lincoln Clifford; two daughters, Mildred Crawford and Florence Timmins; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were July 3 at the Dexter United Methodist Church. Donations may be made to the church in memory of Mrs. Clifford. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery Garland.
