Obituary	LINWOOD E. STRAW DEXTER and GARDINER-Linwood E. Straw, 86, died Sept. 30, in a Gardiner hospital. He was born in Exeter, Dec. 13, 1891, the son of Everett and Minnie (Hewitt) Straw. He was a member of the Dexter Grange, Pomona Grange and the Senior Citizens Club. He was a poultry farmer for 22 years in Carmel and moved to Dexter in 1958. He was presently a resident of Brunswick Road, Gardiner. He is survived by one foster daughter, Elizabeth Thompson of Gardiner; three nephews, Therl Cheney of Raymond, Rodney Cheney of Lebanon, N.H. and Rev. Wayne Hill of Portland, Ore.; one niece, Beatrice Ogden of Dexter. Funeral services were Oct. 2 at Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter, with Rev. Paul Marshall officiating. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
