Obituary	PATRICIA J. KNOWLTON Dexter - Patricia J. Knowlton, 49, died March 17 at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home after a long illness. She was the wife of LeRoy Knowlton. She was born at Dexter May 12, 1928, the daughter of Cecil and Lois (Pendexter) Palmer. She was a member of the First Universalist Church, past president of the American Legion Auxiliary, and was secretary of the auxiliary at the time of her death. She was a member of the Legion Press Association, and was public relations director of the county council of the auxiliary. She held offices in the auxiliary district, and was vice president of the Music Boosters. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Brian, and two daughters, Nancy and Heidi, all of Dexter; several cousins, one aunt, Dorothy Hamilton of Sangerville.
