Edward F. Ronco Edward F. Ronco, 72, died in Winchendon, Mass., where he had been residing for the past nine years, Frday morning after having been ill with a heart ailment about three weeks. Funeral services were held from St. Anne's Catholic church Monday morning at 9 o'clock, Rev. Leonard LeClair officiating. Burial was in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant and the bearers were four sons of the deceased. There were many beautiful flowers. Mr. Ronco was born in Greenville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George C. Ronco, but came to Dexter when a young man and had since maintained a home here, until going to Winchendon to work for the Alaska Freezer Plant. He married Miss Maude Clukey of Dexter. For a number of years he was a registered guide and for about thirty-five years was employed by Howard Colby as caretaker of his private sporting camps at Mud Pond (Umbasooksus) later owning the camps and conducting the Mud Pond Carry, where he was well and favorably known by the sporting public, who visited the Allegash and Chesuncook regions. Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Adeline Poulin, Mrs. Ernestine LeClair and Mrs. Harriett Gerard, all of Winchendon; four sons, Wilfred, and Lawrence of Dexter, Vanson and Howard of Winchendon; thirteen grandchildren; four brothers, Henry of Bangor, Gideon of Dexter, Jesse and George of Sangerville; and four sisters, Mrs. Fred Thompson and Mrs. Louise Dulac of Sangerville, Mrs. Minnie Snow of Dexter and Mrs. Mamie Kelley of Corinna.
